Getting professional photos is something I know you will cherish forever. Therefore I strive to easy any nervousness you may have in front of the camera, play with your kids when they don't want to sit still, and capture moments that freeze your true self in time.
Whether we're in the woods, on a beach, on top of a mountain or in a studio, I’m ready with my camera. All my focus is on you. It’s all about raw emotions, having fun, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
As basic as it sounds, I was and am the girl who has always taking pictures throughout life. Whether it was on my mom's very old digital camera, my iPod touch, or when I bought my first "professional" camera off of Facebook Marketplace in 2020 - I loved capturing memories. The statement still stands today, I'm sure my fiancé is tired of hearing me say, wait stop walking so I get a picture of you RIGHT HERE!
During the school year, I am a third grade teacher and after 5 years in the business, it is my first summer with photography being my summer job! A goal I've had since the beginning of my journey. I'm still in awe that this has become a possibility. A big thank you to my sorority sisters who were always down for a very poorly edited shoot when I first started, my mom who would just so happen to "need" updated family photos of the littles whenever my socials were a little dry and every single person who has given me a good review! I can't wait to see how I can continue to grow and provide the best photos possible for you!
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
As every other photographer will tell you, "I've had a camera in my hand since I was a little kid", I'm no different. I would spend hours with my friends having photoshoots in our backyard, with only my 1st gen ipod touch as a camera. I would come inside and edit these photos to be Instagram "perfect". Although I have much better equipment and have learned that more filters is not always better. The joy and feeling of happiness when I'm taking pictures has never faded.
I started my journey as a professional photographer in 2021 when I needed some extra cash in college to fix my car. I had a couple of fun sessions with my sorority sisters, made a post of Facebook about my services and I've been going every since. This is a job, but it's also a hobby. When I'm finished with my full time communications job, I looked forward to my evenings of photos and editing, it's never been something I dread having to do. I want to thank you all for giving me a reason to pursue my passion.
